As a very young child Mimi spent much time in hospitals where her mother was receiving cancer treatment. Mimi collected flowers, stones, and leaves to make gifts for others. This brought her joy and a smile to her mother’s face. Mimi was shy and reserved when she joined Art Club in 2018.  Her confidence has since grown. Art Club recognised her natural talent and allowed her to explore and develop her creativity. She has already achieved Arts Award Discover. Art Club has also helped develop skills which benefit her school life, such as learning to focus and following instructions. (Parent)
