The ” Art at the Heart” blossom project inspired me to look closely at the blossom in the garden and, the more I looked, the more amazed I was to discover the myriad of colours in a “pink” flower and in the leaves permeated by sunshine.
You have such a lovely tone of teaching and your warmth and encouragement, as well as teaching drawing skills wonderfully, is what made this class stand out from other art classes we have done. So, thank you again, we will keep a lookout for other classes of interest to the children!
Ed and I have so enjoyed listening to you, and watching Ru learn. We’d never have thought a zoom class would be so much fun, so completely engaging and push all the children so much. Thank you so much, you’re a wonderful teacher! Ru would love to do the stage 2 course so we’ll be seeing you again soon!

Absolutely blown away by the artwork my daughter has produced with your encouragement.
The work I did with Mukesh really helped me to put together the portfolio in a logical way
and it was presented professionally in the case he obtained. The coaching he gave me was really helpful to be able to explain to the interviewers what I had been trying to achieve in the various art works. We covered 2D and 3D art and I had some extra homework to look up artists and designers who had influenced my work. In the interviews I felt confident in presenting the artwork alongside the work I had already done at school and I am really pleased to have been offered the places.
My daughter bought me a Christmas gift of 5 art lessons with Art at the Heart at the start of a difficult year.
From the start I have looked forward to my weekly classes and after a busy work-day, the time has been such a great way to relax, focus and clear my mind of everything other than the task in hand. Mukesh has been a patient, enthusiastic and skilful teacher guiding and encouraging me to make progress. The past 3 months have been a further challenge (COVID 19) but Mukesh and Kamaljit have continued to encourage and stimulate all of us students in the most imaginative ways. I am very much looking forward to our future.
