Art Club for a Great Start in Life
Age Guide: 7-9
Join Art Club and give your child the gift of art. Making art will boost your child’s creativity, confidence, wellbeing, resilience and problem-solving skills. Art Club uses themed projects to allow children to experiment with different techniques and develop drawing, painting and making skills. All materials are provided except A3 artfolders (available for purchase at first session for £5). Please bring an apron or wear old clothes–being creative can get messy!

Arts Award
Arts Award is built into the Art Club course. The Awards give children a solid focus for their learning and mark milestones in their achievements. They complement the arts curriculum at school providing a richer and more holistic insight into the world of the creative arts. Children will have the opportunity to achieve Arts Award at either Discover or Explore levels according to age and developmental stage. You can read more about Arts Award here.
Things to Do Before Joining Art Club
Please complete this form before attending if you are new to Art Club, to enable us to give your child the best support.
Please read the booking terms and conditions, and read the code of behaviour policy with your child before booking. By booking a place you are agreeing that you have read and understood and will abide by both the terms and conditions and the code of behaviour policy.
*Please wear old clothes and shoes to all sessions. Art at the Heart CIC does not accept liability for damaged property/clothes/shoes. We use child-friendly washable paint wherever possible, however some colours stain. We also occasionally use acrylic paints which are not washable when dry. Anyone who is worried about clothing/property should not attend.

Oct: 7, 14, 21, 28
Nov: 11, 18 25 (no ArtLab on Nov 4th during half term)
Dec: 2, 9, 16, 23
Please note that missed sessions are not refundable.
