What will you learn?
Using just a pencil and eraser, this workshop will help you create your very own puppy portrait! Learn how to tackle complex drawings, using shading and pencil techniques to create fluffy and textured fur. We’ll demonstrate simple ways of measuring and recording proportions accurately.
This workshop supports Arts Award at Discover, Explore and Bronze levels.
What will you take away?
In just one session, you’ll have made a beautiful drawing that can be taken home and framed. You’ll have developed a toolkit of skills to take away, too!
You will need the following materials:
- Good quality pencils (soft–4B is ideal)
- Good quality A4 sketchbook/paper

Here’s what others have said: “R…. loved the last drawing class with you, he’s so proud of his drawing of the puppy! I’m loving seeing him loosen up and become more expressive with his drawing, so thank you! I’ve just enrolled him on your 5-week drawing course, he can’t wait!”
